Nail Polish

So I have recently discovered a new type of nail polish (new to me at least.) First found in Nantucket this summer I know am in love with BUTTER.

the brand is 3-free which means that it is more natural and safer to use.  The names are super cute and all british themed (No more waity katie) ( wallace) They are more on the expensive side but totally worth the splurge. They last a while and the colors are great!

SECOND POST

I know I just posted but I think I will just give a summary of my interests

I LOVE STYLE. Here are my preppy fall staple brands...

1) RALPH LAUREN: the thing I love about Ralph Lauren is the classic look. I love the equestrian inspired clothing and I almost always love what they put together. I am a huge fan of their rugby label (chock full of cable knit sweaters and cute vests!) And I love the earthy colors that tend to be consistent through out their fall lines.

2) JCREW: In the past few years, J.Crew has lost some of it's preppy reputation and moved more towards the hipster/ new york look. (not Hampton New York more New York City) Not that this is a bad thing just different is all. There are definitely some great buys still like the basics (sweaters, skirts, and SHOES!) My advice is buy the basics here, nothing too out there, as the quality is really good and will serve you well.

3) J MCLAUGHLIN: another "J" brand. J.Mclaughlin is not as easy to find. I am lucky to have one about 20 min from my house but this brand remains relatively close to it's roots (NYC of course) I love the material they make their clothes out of. Its stretchy and almost athletic and overall extremely comfortable. The clothes are a little pricey...but worth the investment. Extremely classy and preppy always moves towards and equestrian style in fall. Their website gives fabulous ideas.

As always I love brands like Tory Burch, Jack Wills, Hunter, Vineyard Vines, Lilly pulitzer.

Currently watching the Washington Capitals game right now...they are beating the Penguins 2-1 in the 3rd period. Any hockey fans out there? I absolutely love the sport. I made a salmon pesto pasta for dinner for my family and it was amazing. I have yet to bake anything that amazing in a while....I probably should work on that. If anyone has any fabulous recipes I would love to try them!

Hello blogging world!

So I am not completely sure why I am starting this, but I am! I am a senior in high school, and yes, I do live in Maryland. I love everything preppy and I find my self stalking fashion blogs.....so I decided to start one myself. PLUS I love to cook and bake and I think I will talk about that as well. To all who listen, I will do my best to entertain.
